Karen Soderberg Hinchliffe

Karen Soderberg Hinchliffe is a versatile coach and consultant. She draws from leadership and management experience in corporate, public and nonprofit settings and hails from a family of entrepreneurs. Karen is particularly interested in decision-making and the use of experimentation in individual and organizational development. Fluent in Swedish and married to a translator, Karen has a passion for language and culture and their influences on communication.

Karen was a Principal with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the USA and Sweden and served on several European management boards. She attributes her keen interest in consulting innovation to clients of Harbridge House in Boston, London and Asia. She credits her boss-mentors of Arthur D. Little’s international food and agribusiness development practice with her decision to help direct efforts in West Africa to sustain access to clean water.

 

Karen holds an MBA from Cornell University, an AB from Bowdoin College and has studied law and economics at the University of Oslo and politics at the University of Stockholm. She is published in the International Review of Strategic Management and the International Human Resources Journal. She has completed the Cape Cod Training Program with the Gestalt International Study Center and continues peer supervision with the International Coaching Federation and the International Association for Gestalt in Organizations.
