Iris Kuhnert, has been a Consulting Associate for Ontos Global since 2013.

She is passionate about linking the complexity of culture, leadership and teams into creative dynamics to help accelerate performance of global organizations.

Iris has been facilitating workshops across various industries such as automotive, chemical, IT, financial services and others since 1995, focusing on leadership skills, multinational teams and individual coaching.

Iris is the author of the book Business with the Japanese and is a sought-after speaker.

Prior to establishing her own consulting business, Iris was a manager in marketing & communication at Noevier, a leading cosmetic brand in Japan. Major accomplishments during her time as a corporate member were the implementation of strategic marketing and communication tools for the European market and the successful start-up of the sales team in Europe. Together will colleagues from the US she managed the successful adaptation and go-life of the IT and logistic systems to meet the needs of the European market.

When establishing her own business in 1995, Iris consulted European based companies in establishing and enhancing their sales in Asia. She helped small and mid-sized organizations with up to 300 hundred employees to multiply their sales within 3 years in Asia from 2 Million Euro per year to up to 12 Million Euro per year.

The sales projects in Asia required Iris to be in Asia for about 70% of her time for 10 years. The experience she gained during these years is highly enriching her workshops by providing countless practical examples.

In 2006 Iris to decided to focus on workshop facilitation and coaching on a global scale with on-site assignments across Europe, the Middle East, U.A.E, the U.S., Mexico and across Asia.

She is also highly experienced in facilitating webinars, most recently with leaders in India.

Iris holds two master degrees. She earned one in international management and Japanese from the University of Applied Sciences, Bremen; and the other is in organizational development and education from the University of Rostock.

Iris is a Professional Certified Coach with accreditation from the International Coach Federation and a Master Trainer for Situational Leadership (SLII).

She holds numerous certifications such as the Cultural Orientations Approach (COA), Extended DISC, Lominger’s Voices 360® , Booth 360 Task Cycle® Survey, TalentQ, Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode (TKI) and others.
