Chantelle has more than 20 years experience as a trainer and facilitator of leadership
development and organisational development, and as coach and consultant in the
design and implementation of people development interventions. She has worked with
multicultural groups from developing countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East, and
companies and institutions in Africa and Europe.
Chantelle is a specialist in emotional intelligence, adult learning and the GestaltOD
approach, applying these bodies of theory and practice in workplace systems.
Chantelle also draws on complexity theory, systems thinking, transactional analysis,
generational theory, adult maturity development theory, neuroscience and
neuropsychoanalysis. Her work with leaders and teams focusses on personal
development, leadership competency, and how to cultivate powerful presence and
resonant relationships in service of positive workplace climates and cultures. She
works with organisations and large systems in times of change, especially culture
change.
Chantelle is a published author in topics related to the Gestalt approach to working with
organizations and systems, public sector best practice in leadership, and organisation
development.
Chantelle has worked in leadership development with complex systems for over 20
years, including in the South African public sector, contributing to the democratisation
of the South African state. This work has involved developing expertise in social
psychology and large systems mindset change, and deep personal work around
diversity and intercultural communication. Since 2005 she has facilitated the Resonant
Leadership for Results emotional intelligence leadership development program as an
associate of the Teleos Leadership Institute (Philadelphia, USA).
Chantelle is accredited as a Master Coach by COMENSA, Coaches and Mentors
South Africa, and as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coach
Federation (ICF). She is accredited in the Emotional Competency Inventory (ECI) and
the Emotional Maturity Inventory (EMI) both of which assess leader competencies that
correlate with results. She is accredited as a Gestalt Practitioner in Organisations
(GPO) by the European Association of Gestalt Therapy (EAGT).
Chantelle currently serves on the faculty on the international Gestalt Organization and
Leadership Development (iGOLD) Program, and has been awarded the Lifetime
Achiever Award from the Gestalt Center for Organization and Systems Development
(Ohio, USA).
Chantelle lives between Cape Town, South Africa and Berlin, Germany. She is a first
language English speaker, has a working knowledge of Afrikaans and German, and
reads French. She has a strong interest in alternative health and holistic personal
development through nurturing of body, mind and spirit.
